DeskPad is a utility whose primary
purpose is to allow an
Always on Top
space for text.

If you have used DeskPad before, either create a shortcut to the LAN version:
\\fs01na01\public\d\deskpad\deskpad.exe
(that way you will always be running the latest copy) or copy the new executable to your hard drive (anywhere will do, but you should have a c:\program files\deskpad folder).

If you have never used DeskPad before or need to reinstall, the setup is in
\\fs01na01\public\d\DeskPad\setup\deskpad.exe

DeskPad was designed as a text-editor that will remain "on-top" even if it is not the active application.  Think of it as a little yellow sticky for your screen.  The current version was written in VB6.
